Afroman

A few years back, I "chased" for a friend of mine racing in the Baja 1000. The Baja 1000 is that crazy off road race that basically runs the entire length of the Baja peninsula. The crazy part is that you have to drive just as fast as the racers do to get down far enough to set up a pit stop for them...at least the way we do it. I was paired up with a couple of young kids from back east. They were both crazy. They performed ATV tricks in the ATV videos my friend Wes produces. Anyway, one of these guys was really into a guy named Afroman. Afroman, aka Joseph Foreman, actually has a really good voice and the beats and rhymes that he puts out are great to listen to...which I am doing right now. His lyrics, while not about much else than smoking Mary Jane, are non-offensive. It is not as though you are going to want your kids to be listening to this, but it is a far cry from Easy E and N.W.A..
