Get Yo Gorillaz On

I just fired up one of the newest albums in my collection, Gorillaz by Gorillaz. The self-titled album has been on my list of things to buy recently, but for whatever reason I have not made it around to picking it up. I have a number of my alternative music friends who have been touting the Gorillaz for some time now and I finally got around to picking it up. So, what do I think? Well, I dig them. Great beats, guitar and lyrics. Perfect combo for me. They remind me a lot of Beck with their trippy sound, funky beats and monotone singing. If you like Beck, then you should check out the Gorillaz.
